The Loose Tooth Declaration

A Faith-Filled Family Update and Prayer Request

A Heartfelt Thank You

First I want to say thank you for your prayers for our very long day. We truly felt peace and grace surrounding us. We know it was because of your prayers lifting us before the Throne.

God is good.

Meeting with the Doctors

We met with two doctors:

  • An Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist

  • An oncologist Judah had previously seen at the Long-Term Survivorship Clinic

After reviewing Judah’s scans and reports, they recommended removing the two most enlarged lymph nodes. This will allow doctors to perform a biopsy and determine if there is anything concerning.

After that, they will take a needle sample from the spot on his thyroid for examination.

Peace Throughout the Day

Eric and I felt an incredible sense of peace throughout the entire day.

The doctors were kind and gentle, explaining the medical details so Judah could understand everything clearly. They expressed optimism and showed wonderful care.

Because of Judah’s history, they want the biopsy done quickly so everyone can understand what is happening. We are hoping the surgery will happen within the next week.

Standing in Faith

We are fully expecting and declaring that:

  • The lymph nodes will be benign

  • The thyroid examination will reveal no threat to his health

Twelve years ago we experienced a great victory in Judah’s life, and we are standing firmly on that victory again.

The Dream: A Loose Tooth

Recently I had a dream before the concern about Judah’s neck appeared.

In the dream I was deeply worried about Judah’s health. Then he came to me and showed me a very loose tooth.

It felt like a message that although the situation may seem concerning, it is like a loose tooth — something easily removed and not a serious threat to his health.

Eric and I are taking this as a reminder of how we should pray.

In Jesus’ name, whatever is happening in Judah’s neck is made whole, right, and perfect. Anything that needs to be removed will be no more troublesome than a loose tooth. Judah’s health will remain strong and his body will be at peace.

“On earth as it is in heaven.”

A Joyful Ending to the Day

A wonderful ending to our long day was coming home to Eric’s parents visiting from Pennsylvania. It has been such a blessing to have them here.

Tomorrow Eric’s dad, Eric, Hannah, Judah, and Josiah will go hunting together, and Judah is determined to take his first deer.

Thank you for your friendship and partnership in fighting the good fight of faith.

Warmly, Deborah
