We’re about to leave the recovery room and move into our overnight room after a long day and a 7 hour surgery. Judah took about an hour to come out of anesthesia and is groggy but his vitals are great. He’s been asking for Gatorade and ice water, which means he’s swallowing well! Both surgeons came in to tell us that the surgery went fine as expected, with no surprises. We will be here overnight. Our pray is for a pain-free night with no swelling and great rest.
