What God’s Been Saying To Us
Through dreams, prophetic words, and prayer, God prepared our hearts for the battle we didn’t yet see coming.
2014, March 23 : At our home church in Harrisburg, PA, Life Center, a prophetic word was given to Deborah and I (Eric) after worship. “In the upcoming new season, you’ll face a faith challenge that will drive you to cling to God’s word in a deeper way than before. God’s word will become even more precious to you.” We had no idea what kind of faith challenge we’d be facing, but we now know what it was. From a medical perspective, it’s highly likely that cancer cells had already invaded Judah’s thyroid gland and this was a prophetic indicator.
2014, October 14:Just days before we received the first troubling test result, Deborah had a disturbing dream. “In the dream I was frantic and upset about Judah’s health. Then he came up to me and excitedly showed me a very loose tooth. Then the dream ended.”
2014, October 17 :This was the day when we got the first troubling test result. While in prayer, the Lord reminded Deborah of this dream and that “a loose tooth can easily be removed.”
2014, November 13: Deborah had a night dream in which she heard these words: “Don’t concede!” This dream seems to confirm a strong impression I (Eric) received from the Holy Spirit during a morning quiet time, “Don’t just give up on Judah’s thyroid. Fight for it!”
2014, November 15: Deborah had a night dream in which she heard these words: “What may seem like a long, hard process will actually be short.” This dream confirms an impression I (Eric) received around the same time that “The conflict will not be grueling like the previous one and will not require the same level of mobilization of energy, effort, and resources to resolve.”
